{"id":6463,"date":"2020-11-16T10:18:51","date_gmt":"2020-11-16T18:18:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.lvlabrescue.com\/?p=6463"},"modified":"2020-11-30T13:25:31","modified_gmt":"2020-11-30T21:25:31","slug":"adopt-me-meilong-a-3-year-old-black-female-labrador","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lvlabrescue.com\/?p=6463","title":{"rendered":"Adopted: Meilong, a 3 year old Black Female Labrador"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-0 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-f7cbbaff-07ff-4fbd-b64f-51e85bde00df\"><br>Adopted: Meilong (pronounced \"May-Ling\"), a 3 year old Black Female Labrador, has found her forever home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-4a49a5ae-0a14-4fa9-a176-93f909a83c81\">Here is a Bio from her foster family\u2026\u2026..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"Meilong is definetely a people dog, she wants to be in with you as much as possible. &nbsp;She is always close by, and likes to sleep in the bed. &nbsp;She is fairly calm as far as not a lot of barking except when she first meets people. &nbsp;Meilong does get timid around new people at first, but does warm up once she feels safe. &nbsp;She does well with other dogs and during her stay here she's been around quite a few. &nbsp;She knows sit and down. &nbsp;She's not an aggressive eater at all. Initially I tried feeding her separately a couple times a day but she would not eat. &nbsp;I have been just free feeding her and she has been fine. She doesn't even beg for food when I'm eating. &nbsp;She will go in the crate if I just open the door and give her the command. &nbsp;Took her a couple days to catch onto the doggie door but she has not had any accidents in the house. &nbsp;I have not had her around kids or cats.
