She has a calm demeanor &amp; loves to be near you. She will give you a gentle nudge &amp; put her head on your lap when she wants attention. She loves to walk around the house &amp; yard with her toys in her mouth.&nbsp; She knows basic commands (sit &amp; down), is house trained &amp; easily mastered the doggie door.&nbsp; Initially she was a bit over eager when taking treats, but has made progress using the \"gentle\" command.&nbsp;Athena tends to pull on walks, so she will need leash training. She doesn't like being confined in the crate, but she will go in &amp; sleep as long as the door is open and you are close by.&nbsp;She sleeps through the night &amp; likes to be close to her human.&nbsp; We have noticed some separation anxiety, she doesn't like to be left alone.&nbsp; She needs some more time and experience to build up her confidence, we have been working on this issue &amp; have made some progress.&nbsp;Athena is very sweet.
