Adopted: Hunter, a 9 month old Black Male Labrador, has found his furever home.

Here is a bio from his foster family:

"Hunter is 9 months old and very much a puppy.  He has a puppy's enthusiasm for life and has adjusted well.  He is still investigating his environment through his mouth, and he can get a little mouthy at times.  Hunter loves to cuddle and get scratches.  He is very enthusiastic about life, active and loves to play ball and, he brings the ball back to you.  Hunter crates well, and sleeps through the night.  He is house broken and doggie door trained.  Hunter is learning commands and knows "sit", "down" (lay down), "off" "come," "leave it," "do your business," "outside," and we are working on "stay."  Most commands are a work in progress, cause he has the attention span of a puppy, but he is doing exceedingly well at them considering he knew nothing when he arrived.  We are working on socialization, which he is doing well at.  He walks on a leash, but that is a work in progress.  He does go on hikes in the desert off leash and does very well.  Hunter can be a bit timid at times with new experiences, but with patience and calm, works through them rapidly.  Hunter also responds out in the desert to a whistle.  He is a counter surfer, when you are not looking, mostly following a feeding; looking for that additional meal or treat.  Hunter is very loyal, inquisitive, loves belly rubs and wishes he was a lap dog."

***Hunter will require a follow up appointment to get neutered with our vet***
