Adopted: Pepper, a 1 year old Black Male Labrador, who is looking for his forever home.

Here is an UPDATED bio from his foster family:

"HI, my name is Pepper, and I am about 14 months old.  I am mostly black with a few white markings on my chest.  I have a birth defect of my tail, which actually I think is pretty cute and goes with my personality.  It is like a monkey’s prehensile tail that curls at the very end but doesn’t affect me or my cuteness.  I am still a puppy and have lots of energy, but I am learning how to channel it to constructive purposes.  I love to play, love scratches all over my body and adore attention.  I sit and love to eat blueberries out of your hand in the evening as dessert.  My favorite toy is a 5-knot rope and a close second is a squealy bone.  I also love to play ball and I’m learning to give it back to you.  I kennel very well, and I am doing well left alone outside of the kennel.  I love to play with other dogs and get along with them.  I am house broken and use a doggie door.  I have learned not to counter surf.  I know the commands sit, stay (work in progress depending on how many distractions there are) place, out of the kitchen, do my business, kennel, down, (or lay down), heel, load and no.  I walk on a leash pretty well for a puppy. I don’t get on the furniture.  I go for long walks every day.  I love to ride in the car and I load well.  I still chew a lot, but when provided with many chew toys I am not destructive.  I have not learned to mark which is kudos for me.  I really look forward to finding  a furever home that will adore me as much as I will adore them and has time to take me on walks."

Please note: Pepper is on the smaller size of a typical Lab, and has a small birth defect, his tail curves in at the end. Our Vet doesn't see a reason to remove the curl, Pepper is happy & healthy and the defect in no way affects his quaility of life.
