He’s dog door trained, non-destructive, and perfectly content whether he’s snuggled up next to you or relaxing on his own. Duke is looking for that special furever family that values seniors with a little grey in their coat, but all the love to give.
Duke gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, from playful pups to gentle giants. He’s independent but affectionate, happy to hang out nearby and soak up attention when it’s cuddle time.
This handsome boy would fit beautifully into almost any home; whether you already have dogs or you’re just looking for one calm, well-mannered buddy to share your space. "
PLEASE READ: Medical disclosures for Duke: Duke has had a senior wellness exam, along with his other vaccinations, microchip, etc. We discovered a small lump, thought to be a lipoma, but turned out to be mass cell cancer. It has been removed, with good margins and no other treatment needed. He has healed well from surgery and doing great. As part of the senior wellness exam, it is also noted that Duke has osteoarthritis. Although you wouldn't know it with his bouncy happiness, he may, at times, need pain relievers and/or anti inflammatories in the future. LVLR is happy to provide his medical records as part of your evaluation to adopt.
