We have a fabulous Happy Tail for Duke. We love seeing how our adopted Labs are doing!
Duke's Happy Tail:
"We adopted Duke 8 months ago. Even though we were informed that he is a senior dog, he acts sometimes as a young dog. We are trying to keep him young as he enjoys fetching his balls in the pool and he fetches his balls in the backyard where we set up an area to throw his squeaky balls bouncing on a foam pool float and an old canopy from a swing. He is a couch potato at times but demands to be rubbed while we try to watch tv. The best thing of all is that he does a Happy Happy dance when he wants to go on his nightly walks and if we have to go out to the store and leave him for a bit, he greets us with this special dance. He doesn't jump, he just bounces up and down which makes our day. A day with Duke is a day of happiness, smiles and sunshine. If we are down in the dumps, Duke is here to remind us that he has come to us to help with those times just as he is here to give him our unconditional love. Duke is not considered a dog, he is our best friend, companion, but most of all our child in fur."
