Adopted: Cali, a 5 year old Female Black Labrador, has found her forever home.

Here is a Bio from her foster family……..

"Cali is a very laid back, calm 5-year old lab. Her previous owner had her professionally trained, and it shows. She knows her basic commands such as sit, laydown, and paw. She is housetrained and is not shy about letting you know that she needs to go. She also will go into her crate on command, and loves it when you come home and let her out.

She doesn’t seem to be food motivated, but loves attention and will sit next to you for hours while you watch TV. She especially likes having her head scratched and her belly rubbed. She is also protective of her human and will follow you around the house like a little shadow.

She walks well, but occasionally needs to be reminded that she shouldn’t pull on her leash. She gets along well with strangers and strange dogs.

Overall, Cali is a great lab, and would make a great family companion"

Adopted: Sable, an 8 year old Black Female Labrador, has found her forever home.

Here is a Bio from her foster family……..

"Sable is a petite, lovely-natured Lab who is very kind and gentle. She is currently recovering from ear surgery, doing well, but a little timid when you first meet her. Sable also has been hard of hearing since her surgery, but is improving. Sable has recently lost her human and is adjusting well to a new environment. As she gets more comfortable, her personality, sweet and calm, starts to shine through. Sable does well with other dogs, pays no attention to cats, doesn't bark and sleeps through the night. Sable is still learning house training, and will need a family with a little patience as she learns new surroundings. She loves a good car ride and walks in the grass. Sable will make a great companion for just about any family."

Adopted: Ink, an 8 year old Male Black Labrador, has found his forever home.

Here is a Bio from his foster family……..

"Ink is a very handsome, friendly, sweet loving boy. He gets very excited when we play fetch and tug of war, he loves it. It’s hard to believe that he is 8 years old. He gets along great with our 3 dogs and has been very curious about our 2 cats but he has not bothered them at all. He is good going for walks. He has sit and come down really good, is house trained, and is very gentle when getting treats, which he loves.  He likes getting attention, especially getting is butt scratched and he really likes being around us. Ink is going to make the perfect addition to any family.

Pending Adoption: Poe, a 2 year old Male Yellow Labrador, has found his forever home.

Here is a Bio from his foster family……..

"Meet Poe! The happy-faced, charismatic boy is named for Poe Dameron from Star Wars, and like his namesake, he is smart, energetic and downright adorable. Just look at how his ears match his gorgeous eyes!

Poe was rescued from a shelter just in the nick of time. He had clearly been a stray for a long time, as he was very underweight and over-stressed. It has taken a few weeks in our foster care to get him eating healthy, putting on weight, and clearing up a skin infection.

Now safe, happy and healthy, Poe's personality is starting to blossom! Our vet estimates Poe to be around 2 years old, but he really is a young 2, full of puppy-like energy and playfulness. He loves chasing a ball, swimming, and playing, sometimes all legs and no coordination! Poe has clearly lacked social skills in his life, and needs some guidance on boundaries and manners.

Poe has learned to do well sleeping in a crate overnight, but is ever the early bird! We continue to build his confidence, work on his manners and he continues to learn new things and become more and more affectionate. Poe just LOVES his evening cuddles! He does very well with our 3 dogs, loves riding in a car, and has come a long way in house training. We do call him 'snake hips', as he has the hilarious ability to slink quickly through any open door. He's very smart, loving, eager to learn and be involved with humans and other dogs.

Poe is a really good candidate for training. He simply still has a puppy brain in a full size body, and can be mischievous if left running free. While we as his fosters have laid a good foundation for his true potential, we know there is a special family out there that will see all he's capable of and commit to helping Poe become the dog he was always meant to be."
