Adopted: Janie, a 1.5 year old Black Female Labrador, has found her forever home.

***Please Read Carefully: Janie may need further training to be in a home with other animals. She's doing well in her foster home with 2 other dogs, with training & supervision***

Here is an UPDATED Bio from her foster family……..

"Janie has grown so much since she's been with us. At first, we were aware she was reactionary with other animals, and felt her best choice would be to be the only animal in her furever home. However, we've seen amazing progress with her behavior in our home, and see how she could easily be trained to be comfortable around other dogs and behave as expected. Janie is an energetic, sweet and and such a goofball. She is very affectionate, and loves to snuggle with her humans. Janie is learning to give cues to go outside, and she's had a few accidents when we've missed the cues. When diligent with outside time, she has no issues. Janie loves car rides, chasing a ball is her FAVORITE, and is so silly doing figure 8 zoomies. She's trying to figure out how to get 2 balls in her mouth at the same time! Janie has learned the crate is safe, and now goes in with little issue, sleeping through the night. Janie still has her happy puppy nature, and likes socks, occasionally a shoe, and slippers are her fave. She's quick to learn when told no, but still has a mischievous nature. She walks well on leash and loves to play, and then chilling once she's had mental & physical stimulation.

We initially maintained separation when Janie came into our home with our 2 dogs, as she displayed reactionary behavior & uncomfortableness around other dogs. We worked on her be comfortable with us, then began small testing around our dogs. Within a week, she is now allowed to be fully out of a pen and lives like she's one of the pack, with no issues. She has seemed to gain her confidence, and while still learning what's expected of her, we can see she's a truly sweet, loving pup. Janie will make an excellent companion for the right family that is committed to further training and managing what is expected of her. She really loves to be with people of all ages and is a great buddy."

Adopted: T-Rex, a 6 month old Black Male Labrador, has found his forever home.

Here is a Bio from his foster family……..

"This long-legged puppy will be a loyal companion to his owner and will follow them around everywhere.   He is going to the door when he needs to go to the bathroom and is sleeping through the night.  T Rex is not a fan of the kennel just yet, so he needs training to know that is a safe place for him.  He responds to a firm "no" and will walk away from whatever he is getting into that he shouldn't be.  When a new person walks into the room, he will get excited and sometimes jump up.  He loves his food and will jump up to see what is on the counter to eat.  T Rex seems to get along with other male dogs so far and wants to play with them, but still learning his boundaries when they do not want to play back.  Keep your eye on him, he will sneak away and grab an item he shouldn't have or get into the trash if he is able to, so make sure a nylabone or a kong toy is available for him to chew on.  He is a very friendly puppy and has typical puppy habits, but you can tell he just wants to be loved & please his owner."
