Adopted: Errol, a 4-5 year old Male Chocolate Labrador, has found his forever home.

Here is a Bio from foster family……..

"Errol is a large dog with an equally large heart. He gets along great with other dogs and is respectful of them. He has been trained so he knows basic commands and walks nicely on a leash. He is housebroken and crate trained and takes treats gently from your hand. He is very willing to please and as long as he knows you are the one in charge he is happy to do anything you ask."

Adopted Pending: Bella, a 9 month old Female Chocolate Labrador, has found her forever home.

Here is a Bio from her foster family……..

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
"We have only had Bella a short time, here is what we know. She's is very sweet, loving, and a bundle of puppy energy. She does well in the car, understands a few commands and comfortable in a crate. However, she lacks socialization skills with other dogs, and needs training to contain her energy around other dogs. It will take her time to understand how to get along with other dogs, so she may be best suited for an active family with her as the only dog."

Happy Tail: Murphy (Formally Kingston)

We received this wonderful & amusing Happy Tail from Murphy's furever family.

"Murphy (formerly Kingston) has been with us for a little over a year now. He is a sweet, sweet boy who is a work in progress. He certainly has come a long way from last February when he was placed in his fur-ever home. Pretty much a blank slate when he came to us, the only command he followed was ‘sit’ and even that one was inconsistent. But with wonderful support from Dave Heck and the excellent training we received through ‘Sit Means Sit’, Murphy now is fully house-trained and follows many commands. His behavior has improved and he now can be left alone out of his crate along with his sister, Allie, during the day. After much work, they are getting along quite well, even ‘frapping’ together in the back yard when one gets a wild hair! Quite a study in contrasts, Murphy can leap gracefully to catch a ball in mid-air only to turn around and walk into a light pole five minutes later. He will sit and wait until he is ‘released’ to start eating but recently stole a grilled cheese sandwich off the kitchen counter in front of six people, finishing it before anyone could reach for his remote. But as challenging as he can be, we love dogs with big personalities and wouldn’t trade him for all the biscuits he could eat. Thank you LVLR, for all the wonderful work you do and for allowing us to make Murphy’s happy-tail wag!"

Adopted: Buck, a 3 year old male Yellow Labrador, has found his forever home.

Here is a Bio from his foster family……..

"Our family was amazed how sweet & gentle Buck was as soon as we picked him up from Craig Road Animal Hospital....his ride home in the car was so smooth. He laid in the back seat and put his head on my 9 yr. old grandson's lap as if he was part of the family. His meet and greet with our 2 yr. old female also went very smooth. Buck is non aggressive and has no problem sharing toys. His first night I put him in his crate and he slept in until I woke him to take him out. What a joy this boy is!"
